Meet the Owner
Antigone is a Sports Certified Specialist, currently working as the Director of Performance Therapy at The Edge in Glenview, IL. She is also an adjunct faculty member at Northwestern University, as well as, a tactical athlete specialist at O2X, where she speaks nationally to firefighters, law enforcement, and other government and military agencies on injury risk reduction.
Antigone received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2012, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014 from Boston University College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences: Sargent College. She then completed the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 2017. Antigone is also a certified health care provider for World Rugby.
Antigone is dedicated to providing evidence-based and patient-centered care to all age groups and demographics, but finds working with tactical athletes, the aging athlete, and patients in chronic pain the most professionally rewarding. She also works closely with local dentists to treat tempromandibular joint dysfunction (TMJD).
Outside of the clinic, Antigone enjoys painting, singing and playing music, and cooking with her husband Brian. They have a daughter, Meli.

Amanda Montbriand PT, DPT, FAAOMPT
Amanda completed her Bachelor of Science in 2016 at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and went on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2019. She subsequently completed a Sports Physical Therapy Residency program at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2020 and is currently pursuing a Fellowship in Advanced Orthopedics, Manual Therapy, and Education with Northwestern University.
Amanda’s professional experience is in specialized outpatient orthopedic patient care. She enjoys returning patients to sports specific activities through the use of a full body approach. She ensures a specific experience for each patient tailored to their needs and goals. Amanda has also completed advanced training in clinical diagnosis and manual therapy to create the best outcomes for her patients. She is a passionate advocate for the use of physical therapy in the conservative management of injury - especially in youth, high school, and recreational athletes. She believes that progressive exercise and fitness is the ideal way to get patients back to the activities they love and perform at their best. In her free time, Amanda enjoys taking her dog to the park and beach, riding her bike on the lakefront, and trying new restaurants and breweries in Chicago.
